Financial resources vary widely between members, and for this reason the challenge is not for equal gifts but equal sacrifice.

As you are praying and asking what God wants you to give, it may be helpful to ask yourself these questions.

1. What do I want to give?  Affordable (II Corinthians 9:7)
2. What can I afford?  Some Strain (Philippians 4:19)
3. What would I be willing to sacrifice?  Real Sacrifice (Ephesians 3:20)
4. What am I willing to trust God to give through me?  True Biblical Sacrifice (Hebrews 11:6)

The Holy Spirit will guide you in your giving.  If each will obey the Holy Spirit, then we will be equal, not in gifts, but in sacrifice!  By giving sacrificially, our church will be able to reach more souls, and you will grow spiritually as you trust God in the area of your finances.

"Where there is no vision, the people perish..."  Proverbs 29:18
